08 May, 2011

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has stopped the foreign satellite TV channels from illegal up-linking of signals and live covering news from Abbottabad. Channels included Fox News, NBC News, CNN, CNS, IBN, BBC Al-Jazera, Voice of America and Sky news were violating section 31 of Pemra Act, says a press release issued here on Saturday by the Pemra.
