Capital Police lauded for controlling crimes

Business community has lauded Islamabad Police role in controlling crimes, which not only help restore peace but also increase business activities in the twin cities. Capital Police have rendered great sacrifices to make the city peaceful and business community is proud of their efforts, which helped boost the business activities in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, said Ali Raza Saeed Shah, President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) here on Saturday.
Shah was heading a RCCI delegation, which met Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Wajid Ali Khan Durrani at his office. Senior Vice President RCCI Mian Atteeq and other leaders were also present in the meeting. RCCI President lauded the role of Islamabad police for making Islamabad a safe and peaceful city.
He commended the efforts of police for saving the lives of the citizens and paid tribute to those policemen, who lost their lives for providing security to citizens. He said business community and police have very cordial relations and assured full support of businessmen to police to maintain peace in the city. IGP Islamabad Wajid Ali Durrani lauded the co-operation of business community of the twine cities for maintaining peace in the city. He said that measures were being taken to upgrade Capital Cops and community policing was being encouraged.
