Islamabad Police have arrested criminals including a proclaimed offender, said Naeem Iqbal, Spokesman of Islamabad Police here on Saturday. On the directives of SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan, a team of Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police led by DSP CIA Bashir Ahmed Noon launched a massive crackdown and succeeded in arresting nine notorious criminals from whom looted items including laptops, computers and mobile phones were recovered.
The detained outlaws were involved in crime incidents and were wanted to Sabzi Mandi, Bhara Kahu, Shehzad Town, Kohsar Police Stations, the spokesman said. The detained outlaws were identified as Riaz son of Fazal Ahmed, Abdul Wahid son of Tariq Mehmud, Wajid Mehmud son of Muhammad Afraz, Mudassar son of Sohrab, Uqaab Hussain son of Muhammad Ashfaq, Ikhlaq son of Mushtaq, Asad Anwer son of Anwer Masih, Khurram Shehzad son of Liaqat and a proclaimed offender, Mehboob Hussain son of Fazal Hussain.
