World Mother's Day celebrated

In order to show special love and affection to mothers, a special day is celebrated, which is called Mothers' Day. The Day is celebrated on different days and dates around the world. Most commonly, Mother's Day occurs on the second Sunday in May.
On this day, it is common for Mothers to be lavished with presents and special attention from their families, friends and loved ones. Like other different parts of the world, this day is celebrated on May 08 in Pakistan.
Those living in Pakistan and other parts of the world, show special love, reverence and respect to their mothers. They send text messages, flowers and other gifts to their mothers to express love and respect with them.

It may be noted that several countries around the world celebrate Mother's Day on a different day and even different time of the year. At several places even the method of celebrations varies. But what is remarkably same, are the feelings behind the idea of celebrating Mother's Day. Everywhere in the world, people celebrate Mother's Day to express gratitude and love for their mother and to make them feel special.
