Seminar on 'A tribute to the mother' held

Arooj-e-Mariam Catholic Church organised a seminar on "A tribute to the Mother" to mark international Mother's Day at Centre for Peace and Harmony, Faisalabad. Fr Nisar Barkat (Director National Commission for Justice and Peace), Fr Samual George, Chaudhry Anwar Advocate, Ms Fouzia Kanwal, Ms Naila Arooj and Ms Aqsa Kanwal were among the speakers.
Nisar Barkat said, Mother's Day is a day to present a tribute to the sacrifices of all the mothers of the world. We don't need good leaders we need good mothers who can form a better nation. Samuel George said, It is imperative for mothers to educate their children.
Chaudhry Anwar Advocate said, Mother deserves love and respect, because she suffers a lot in her life from child's birth to up-bringing, but never demands for its reward. Ms Fouzia Kanwal said, Mother is a precious gift for the mankind from God, because she is a symbol of love, justice, sacrifice, peace and tolerance.
Ms Naila Arooj said, Mother's Day is celebrated to refresh the love of mothers towards their children and this provides us an opportunity to every one to respect mothers for their affection, devotion and motherhood. On the occasion, children presented tableaus, rhymes and songs, depicting the dignity and respect of mothers.
