University of Sindh organises APC

Sindh University Alumnae Fund will be set up and all income will be utilised for the welfare of the University students. This was decided in 2nd meeting of the Consultative Committee held on Monday which was constituted in the light of the recommendations of All Parties Conference organised by the University of Sindh.
The meeting was presided over by Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Professor Dr Nazir A Mughal while representatives of various political parties and intellectuals Muhammad Ibraheem Joyo, Professor Mahtab Akbar Rashjidi, Dr Muhammad Suleman Shaikh, Taj Joyo, Jamio Chandio, Dr Parveen Shah, University teachers and Officers were present in the meeting.
The Vice Chancellor briefed the meeting about encouraging view of point of the VC's Committee meeting hosted by Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur and informed that meeting of VC's has appreciated efforts made by the University for holding of APC followed by Consultative Committee meeting.
The meeting expressing satisfaction on the conduct of peaceful examination at the campus also appreciated co-operation of the leaders of the political parties. The consultative committees as per its mandate assigned by APC, has set up a Monitoring Committee consisting of representatives of the Political parties and intellectuals to work jointly with the University administration for the peace at the campus.
With a joint consultation and with consent of leadership of Political Parties, unanimously monitoring committee was announced which comprises intellectuals Muhammad Ibraheem Joyo, Professor Mehtab Akbar Rashidi, Dr Muhammad Suleman Shaikh, Taj Joyo, Jami Chandio, Zubair Memon (PML-F), Aijaz Dhamrah (PPP), Nand Lal Malhi(STPP), Peeral Majeedano (PP-SB), Roshan Birhamani (Awami Tahreek), Roshan Ali Buriro(Sindh United Party), Muhammad Ayoob Shar (SNF), Asif Baladi(Jeay Sindh Qoomi Mahaz Bashir Qureshi) and representatives from the University Administration.
A 3-members committee consisting of Taj Joyo, Professor Salma Leghari and Jami Chandio was also approved to prepare a draft of Terms of Reference (ToR) towards roadmap of the monitoring committee. The meeting also decided to set up Sindh University Alumnae Fund.
