Activist of ST among three killed

At least three persons including an activist of Sunni Tehrik (ST) were killed in separate incidents in various parts of metropolis here on Monday. According to details, an activist of ST was gunned down while other injured in the limits of North Nazimabad police station. The incident took place at Wahid Colony at North Nazimabad, where 38-year-old Shahid Qadri son of Siddique Qadri, who was
sitting along with his friend Mukhtiar Khan son of Anzar Khan, was targeted by an unknown armed man. The culprits managed to flee from the scene after committing the said crime. Police shifted injured persons to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medical treatment where Shahid succumbed to his injuries. Police said the victim, was the resident of the same area and was an activist of ST.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of ST Faheem Sheikh condemned the said incident and demanded the government to take the responsible culprits to task. In another incident, a body of teenager was found in a gunny bag from Aziz Nagar Orangi Town in the limits of Pakistan Bazaar police station. The victim, was later identified as 19-yar-old Noroz alias Jahanzaib son of Murad Baloch, was the resident of street no 2 Aziz Nagar sector 11 1/2 Orangi Town.
Police said the victim was hit by single bullet on his head and the body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities. They said the victim had affiliation with the Lyari gangster group and now he was living with his aunty at Orangi Town. Later police handed over his body to the heirs. No case was registered till the filing of the report.
An activist of ST, who was injured on May 5 at Ranchore Line area, succumbed to his injuries on Monday at Civil Hospital Karachi. Police said the victim was injured at Narain Pura when unidentified-armed men targeted ST activist Shahzad Lahoti. ST spokesman Faheem Sheikh said the victim, was the resident of Narinpura, was an activist of unit 27 Ranchore Line sector.
