MQM holding referendum on US raid

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has organised a referendum with a view to formulating a national response on the US raid (it began at party's headquarters '90' on Wednesday evening). This was stated by Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee, Anees Ahmed Qaimkhani at a joint press conference along with other members of the Rabita Committee, at Lal Qila Ground Azizabad here, said a party press release on Wednesday.
The MQM has also released a questionnaire comprising 17 questions. The MQM Rabita Committee has appealed to politicians, intellectuals, critics, columnists, journalists, businessmen, industrialists, doctors, engineers, labourers, students and people belong different segments of the society to participate in the referendum.
Addressing the press conference, Qaimkhani also read out a message of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain about the referendum and advised people to respond to the same through telephone, e-mail or by visiting their nearest units or sector offices of his party or headquarters of the MQM at Azizabad, by May 17 so that the nation can be informed about their views accordingly.
Members MQM Rabita Committee, Mrs Nasreen Jaleel, Syed Mustafa Kamal, Kanwer Naveed Jameel, Javed Kazmi, Ashfaq Mangi, Waseem Aftab, Gulfaraz Khan Khatak, Yousuf Shahwani, Qasim Ali Raza, Kanwer Khalid Younis and Wasey Jaleel were also present on the occasion.
