Newly appointed 11 additional and 15 newly confirmed judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC) took oath of their offices at a ceremony held in Punjab Judicial Academy. Chief Justice LHC Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry administered the oath to the judges. The ceremony was attended by senior lawyers, law officers and family members of the judges.
The additional judges who took oath as confirmed judges include Justice Nasir Saeed Sheikh, Justice Sheikh Najamul Hassan, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Sheikh Ahmad Farooq, Justice Chaudhry Shahid Saeed, Justice Rauf Ahmad Sheikh, Justice Ijaz Ahmad, Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood Khan, Justice Shahid Hameed Dar, Justice Muhammad Anwarul Haq, Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan, and Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sidhu.
Those who took oath as additional judges are Justice Syed Kazim Raza Shamsi, Justice Abdul Waheed Khan, Justice Iftikhar Hussain Shah, Justice Abdus Sattar Asghar, Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Younas, Justice Mehmood Maqbool Bajwa, Justice Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah, Justice Ameenudin Khan, Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti, Justice Altaf Ibrahim Qureshi, and Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan.
