SBP Inter-School T20: Kamran Public School, Khan School win

Kamran Public School beat City School by 9 wickets in the first State Bank of Pakistan Inter-School T20 Cricket Tournament which got under way at SBP Sports Complex, North Nazimabad, Karachi on Saturday. Batting first, City School scored 91 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Tabrez Ali of City School scored 42 runs. Muhammad Rehan and Ammad Alam of Kamran Public School took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Kamran Public School scored the required runs in just 8 overs for the loss of one wicket. Rashid Raja and Ahsan Malik of Kamran Public School scored 36 and 34 runs respectively. Ahsan Malik, who scored 34 run in just 14 balls and also took 2 catches behind the wicket, was declared Man of the Match. In the second match of the tournament, Khan School beat Qadri School by 42 runs. Earlier, Qasim Nawaz, Managing Director, SBP Banking Services Corporation inaugurated the tournament in which 8 top cricket teams of Karachi schools as per KCCA ranking are participating.
