Eight of a family burnt alive in road accident

Nine persons including five children burnt alive when two cars caught fire after head-on collision in Burewala on Sunday morning. Of the deceased, eight belonged to the same family.
District Police Officer Vehari said both the cars caught fire as their CNG cylinders exploded violently after a head-on collision, resultantly, all nine persons died on the spot. Police said that two residents of Gujrat Khalid Gujjar and Pervez were coming to Burewala in car no. LEA-1115 while a nine-member family of Burewala was going to Lahore in car no. LEB-5971. Both the vehicles collided head-on due to over-speeding.
As a result, Muhammad Yousaf (55) Fauzia (40), Muhammad Ashraf,Haider Usman (10) Shahid Omar (8) Hamid Omar (9) Farzana (19) ,Khalid Gujjar and Qaiseen (2) died on the spot while Shifa (13) and Pervez suffered injuries.
