Four killed in various areas of the city

Four people were killed in separate incidents here on Tuesday in different areas of the city. According to details, a man was shot dead in Mehmoodabad area in the limits of Baloch Colony police station by unknown armed men. The victim, Abdul Majeed, 30, son of Shah Alam, a resident of Mehmoodabad No 6, was targeted when he was sitting at his cloth shop in Allah Wala Cloth market, Mehmoodabad.
He received two bullets on his chest and died on the spot. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico legal formalities. Police suspected that personal enmity could be behind the incident. A tortured body of a man was found from Mominabad area of Malir in the limits of Khokhrapar police station. The victim was identified as Taj Mohammad, 35, son of Sher Mohammad, a resident of Ramzan Lassie Goth, Malir. The body was shifted to JPMC for post-mortem and later handed over to heirs. No case was registered till filing of this report.
Another body of a youth was found at Gulistan Colony in the remits of Shah Latif police station. The body was identified as Syed Amin Uddin, 23, son of Jamal Uddin. The body was shifted to JPMC and after completing the medico legal formalities was handed over his heirs.
A young man was crushed to death by a speedy bus near Gulshan Ghazi Baldia in the jurisdiction of Saeedabad police station. The victim, Shahzad, 20, son of Sher Ahmed, a resident of Mohajir Camp, Baldia was hit by a speedy passenger bus while crossing the road. Resultantly, he died on the spot. The bus driver was arrested, however no case was registered till filing of this report.
