The affectees of dammed Hunza river demanded on Tuesday for early discharge of water from the river and earlier distribution of compensation amount among the 457 listed households. The protesters from Gulmit, Shishkat and Ayeenabad gathered again and blocked the sunk Shishkat-Gulmit bridge for boat traffic, by tying metallic wires between the river banks. The protesters intend to continue their strike till the complete fulfilment of their demands.
