PFMA reduces 20kg flour bag price

Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) has announced a reduction of Rs 15 in the price of 20 kilograms flour bag from Wednesday to pass on the benefit of lower prices of new wheat crop to the consumers. The Association announced the new price after a meeting with the Punjab Minister for Food Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor in civil secretariat here on Tuesday.
Secretary Food Irfan Elahi and Chairman PFMA Asim Ahmad Raza were also present on this occasion. Asim Ahmad Raza while talking to Business Recorder said that prices of wheat had lowered in the open market after the arrival of new crop and the Association decided to pass on this benefit to the consumers. He also said that the Association would fully cooperate with the Punjab government in any scheme of extending benefit to the consumers.
