Pakistan, US advised to avoid confrontation

Defence analyst General (Retd) Talat Masood said US and Pakistan both were currently working on the possibilities to avoid the extreme situations. Talking to VOA on Tuesday, he said that US should listen to the legitimate demands of Pakistan and avoid any confrontation. "It will also badly affect US if it pushes Pakistan to the corner," he said, adding the US should not take advantage of the prevailing situation as Pakistan was passing through a tough state of affairs.
