51 percent reject PPP-PML (Q) alliance: Gallup

Only 33 percent of the people have supported the alliance of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League PML-Q, while 51 percent rejected, said Gallup Pakistan. According to the results of a recent survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan only one third of all Pakistanis (33pc) favour the sharing of power by the PPP and the PML-Q in the Centre.
The survey said that 20 percent people are quite certain that the alliance between the two parties will last, 29 percent are somewhat skeptical and 35 percent think the alliance between PML-Q and PPP is very unlikely to continue. "In the survey, a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the country were asked the following question, "Do you support the formation of a coalition government by the PPP and PML-Q?" Results show that 33 percent respondents supported a coalition government of the PPP and the PML-Q , while 51 percent were against it and a significant 16 percent did not know or did not respond.
