Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif gave a cheque of Rs 20 million to the Chairman Aziz Jehan Begum Trust for the Blind, Khalil Mian, here Wednesday. This was revealed in information received from DGPR during the day.
Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Minister for Agriculture, Malik Ahmed Ali Aulakh, Member Provincial Assembly, Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Chief Secretary Nasir Mehmood Khosa, Special Secretary Education Najam Saeed and members of the Trust Mian Kamran Afzal, Athar Ashraf Nizami and Shakeel Ahmad were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that service to humanity was a form of worship and the organisations engaged in this noble cause were making commendable efforts. He said that Aziz Jehan Begum Trust for the Blind was playing a laudable role for the education and training of the blind children for making them useful citizens of the society.
