KBC to hold conference on financial sectors on May 23

The Karachi Branch Council (KBC) of ICMAP has always been active in personal and professional development of students and members by organising various relevant programmes of utmost importance from time to time.
In order to take this mission one step ahead, KBC is going to organise a conference on "Role of Financial sectors in the Development of Economy" on the same day when it will be celebrating "Management Accountant Day" on the occasion of 60th anniversary of ICMAP on May 23, 2011.
The conference is aimed at creating awareness among its members and other individuals about the importance of various financial sectors in the development of an economy and making it prosperous. These sectors by way of providing financing facilities and other financial products play pivotal role in the development of private sector as well as enable individuals to access services and commodities.
The conference would explore numerous investment opportunities in financial sectors and their effects on economic growth and sustainability. It would highlight and emphasise importance of investments in the various sectors of economy in general as well as in financial sectors in particular; in order to accelerate the pace of economy to the desired level.
The likely participants will be the members and students of ICMAP, Chartered Accountants, Corporate Secretaries, Bankers, Insurers, and representatives and senior managers of NBFCs, Trade and Industry, and of other business community.
