'Pakistani army ready to face all challenges'

Commandant Strategic Force Command and Colonel Commandant Regiment of Artillery, Lieutenant General Jamil Haider has said the country is facing the challenge of terrorism but Pak army is ready to curb this menace. Addressing the 25th recruits passing out parade here on Friday, he said the army was ready to face every situation and would utilise all resources to resolve this problem.
He expressed satisfaction over the standard of training and drill, a true reflection of professionalism dedication and hard work, at Artillery Centre and said all credit goes to the officers and instructors of the centre. Lieutenant General Jamil Haider advised the recruits to continue working hard to excel in their military career. The chief guest also awarded medals to the best recruits after the parade.
Chief of Army Staff Medal was awarded to Battery Junior Leader Gunner Najeeb-ur Rehman, Colonel Commandant Medal to centre Junior Leader Gunner Muhammad Shoaib, Centre Commandant Medal to Battery Senior Leader Technical Assistant Faizan Hafeez and the Commander Army Strategic Force Command Medal to Centre Senior Leader OPSSM Jamshaid Iqbal. The chief guest awarded the Aala Battery Flag to Razzaq Battery, Champion Regiment Trophy to I-Training Regiment on overall best performance in training and administration. The chief guest was presented guard of honor.
