Nine killed in Lower Kurram tribal feuds

At least nine persons were killed and several others injured in a fierce clash between the rival tribes in Lower Kurram area, police and witnesses said on Sunday.
According to reports different tribes at Balishkhel and Khwarclay on Sunday morning started firing at each other positions, resulting in the death of nine persons and several wounded. Reports further said heavy and automatic weapons were used in the skirmishes.
Local MNA Sajid Toori told newsmen that the extremists were trying to disturb peace in Kurram Agency over a buzz about fresh military operation in tribal areas.
