Pakistan rugby gets New Zealand coach

Pakistan rugby got a big boost in its preparation for the upcoming HSBC Asian 5 Nations Division III with the addition of an IRB qualified coach Mike Pirrit from New Zealand. This was stated by President, PRU, Fawzi Khawaja at a news conference here on Thursday to introduce the foreign coach.
"He is a qualified IRB Educator whose name has been recommended by IRB Asia Regional Manager, Jarrad Gallagher who believes Mike would be an ideal candidate for the job of Pakistan team head coach for the HSBC tournament. Mike is in Pakistan for a two-month period and will travel with the national team to Jakarta (Indonesia) where the HSBC A5N Div III tournament is being held."
PRU President said Mike presence will immensely help improve the standard of rugby in the country. Mike arrived in Pakistan on the on May 18 and he is working with the national side. The HSBC A5N Div III is being participated by Indonesia, Guam and China are the other teams taking part in addition to Pakistan.
