72 prisoners involved in border crossing released

A federal review board here Saturday released 72 prisoners involved in border crossing. The board was comprised of Justice Nasirul Mulk of Supreme Court and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed of the Lahore high Court. The prisoners who were released included nationals of India, Bangladesh, Iran and Tanzania.
A section officer of interior ministry also appeared to assist the board. The officer told the board that the government was taking measures to send the detainees' back to their homeland as they had already undergone their imprisonment. The board also directed the ministry to take necessary measures for the repatriation of the border crossing prisoners.
