Political leaders meet Zardari to condole his father's death

A number of political leaders along with their delegations on Saturday separately called on the President at Aiwan-e-Sadr to offer their condolences to the President over the death of his father. The delegations that called on separately included that of leaders of PML(Q) headed by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
It was followed by another 5-member delegation from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa led by Amir Haider Khan Hoti, Chief Minister. Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, Ameer Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, also called on the President along with his delegation. Makdoom Amin Fahim, Federal Minister for Commerce and Dr Zaheeruddin Babar Awan were also present during the meeting.
Later, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, head of Pakistan Peoples Party (Sherpao), along with his delegation and Mir Jan Mohammad Jamali, Deputy Chairman Senate, also called on the President separately. They offered fateha for the departed soul and prayed to Allah Almighty for granting eternal peace to the departed soul. The President thanked the visitors for their condolences and their sympathies.-PR
