IAL Saatchi to tackle Olympics

29 May, 2011

IAL Saatchi & Saatchi, one of country's oldest and highly reputed advertising agencies, is taking a novel approach towards igniting employee motivation; it is challenging its staff to their own Olympics showdown.
The motivational challenge comes as a result of bringing purpose to people's lives. "Purpose" is the new philosophy adopted by Saatchi & Saatchi offices around the world and is an attempt to give people the chance to be "something bigger."
Kevin Roberts, CEO Saatchi & Saatchi world-wide, started the ball rolling for the company's affiliates all over the globe. "We are not like all the others. We have a purpose. We are transformers," he said. In Pakistan, IAL Saatchi & Saatchi responded to Roberts' call to action by launching the IAL Olympics.
Mrs Ruby Haider, CEO of IAL Saatchi & Saatchi said, "Our Purpose Session is going to be held in a much bigger way and in a manner that it deserves to be marked with." The IAL Olympics will be held at a resort just outside of Karachi and is intended to be an employee event that will inspire and challenge the people of the organisation, redefine problem-solving techniques, and strengthen the confidence that has long characterised Pakistan's first ever ideas company.-PR
