Former District Ameer of Karak and member of JUI-F Maulana Salimullah was gunned down by unidentified gunmen here on Tuesday, police said The assailants opened volley of bullets at JUI-F leader at Latambar, killing him on the spot while four other persons also received bullets wounds and were shifted to district hospital.
The motive behind the brutal murder could not be immediately ascertained. The outlaws escaped from the scene after committing crime. Police have cordoned off the area and started search operation.
