To ensure provision of clean drinking water to the community of Gula Jan Koruna, the Political Administration has constructed a drinking water supply system which would benefit more than 2,400 residents of the area.
According to a press release issued by the Directorate of Information, FATA Secretariat on Tuesday, the drinking water facility at Gula Jan Koruna, included construction of a tube well, installation of three 2,000-gallon and one 10,000-gallon water tanks, installation of 1,000 meters of pipeline for distribution and external electrification of the system via a 25 KV transformer.
Political Administration has also constructed irrigation channels and flood protection walls for the communities of Rehmatullah Kach and Farhan Kach of FR Tank. The projects will benefit approximately 3,500 individuals of the area. The project at Rehmatullah Kach consist of construction of a 183 meter flood wall and 91 meters of irrigation channel while the project at Farhan Kach includes a 198 meter long flood protection wall and 91 meters of irrigation channel.
