MCB Bank offers to train Iraqi Bank staff

A high level delegation from Rasheed Bank, the leading Iraqi bank led by its chairman Khadim M Nashoor, visited the head office of MCB Bank and discussed with its top management the possibility of collaboration between the two banks.
The delegation held detailed meeting with MCB chairman Mian Muhammad Mansha and was particularly interested in exploring the possibility of training the staff of Rasheed Bank at MCB. The delegation of Rasheed Bank was deeply impressed by the innovative and efficient operations of MCB in risk management, treasury Operations, branchless/ mobile banking and its use of latest banking technologies.
The chairman Rasheed Bank discussed with the MCB team the introduction of these technologies in the 162 branches of Rasheed Bank in Iraq. He pointed out that the bank has strategic plan for radical reforms that have already been implemented at MCB Bank. These reforms include training human resources; producing new bank services including Islamic exchange; integral banking through computer; modern banking communication system; extending banking relations outside Iraq and opening new branches both inside Iraq and abroad.
Beside this the delegation informed that it also desires MCB Bank to help it enhance the expertise of its core members so that they could then impart the knowledge gained to its workforce of 6329 permanent employees.-PR
