08 Jun, 2011

Pakistan Muslim League-Q will not adopt undemocratic attitude in the upcoming budget session of Punjab Assembly, PML-Q parliamentary leader in the provincial assembly Chaudhry Zaheeruddin said. Talking to reporters here Tuesday, Zaheer said the PML-N had shown undemocratic attitude during the budget speech of federal minister but "we would not resort to such action that may cause threat to democracy."
He urged Speaker Punjab Assembly to issue production order of Chaudhry Moonis Elahi for the budget session of Punjab Assembly so that being an elected member of the assembly he could attend the session. He asked Punjab Chief Minister, Mohammad Sharif to present report about floods in Punjab in the House.
He also demanded to make public the inquiry report about floods in Punjab. He also strongly condemned the decision of Punjab government withdrawing the staff of Elite Force from the security of PML-Q President, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein and former Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
