Dutch ambassador for promotion of two-way trade

The Dutch Ambassador, Joost Reintjes, and Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Karachi, Tarek Khan, hosted a large and glittering reception to celebrate Queen's Day. Talking to the media at the reception, Reintjes emphasised the need for more co-operation between the Dutch and Pakistani companies to promote and enhance two-way trade.
The Netherlands ambassador also highlighted the importance of Pakistan's private sector in the development of the country's trade links with other countries of the world. The Dutch Ambassador invited the business community of Karachi to interact with the Dutch consulate in the city to further develop good bilateral relations between The Netherlands and Pakistan.
The Consul General of the Netherlands in Karachi, Tarek Khan said that frequent business travellers to Holland could now avail a special facility while applying for business visas that entitles them to special treatment. The Deputy Speaker of Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza who was the chief guest at the reception cut a cake on the occasion. She said that the Netherlands enjoys good cordial relations. The reception was well attended by diplomats, representatives of the business community, government officials and civil society.-PR
