Capital police nab 13 suspects

Islamabad Police have arrested 13 outlaws from different parts of the federal capital and recovered four pistols, 6.250 kg charas, 15 bottles of liquor, mobile phones and looted items from their possession, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police on Tuesday.
Shehzad Town Police chased the thieves involved in theft in different parts of the area and succeeded in arresting two namely Arshad and Imran. It recovered stolen television sets and mobile phones from them. Police also recovered one pistol (22-bore) on the disclosure of a detained accused Muhammad Imran alias Manga. Another pistol (30-bore) was recovered by the police on the disclosure of Barooz Khan. Responding on a tipoff, CIA police chased an accused Ajmal Khan, who was riding a motorcycle, and recovered two-kg charas from his possession.
Golra Police, during a routine patrolling, stopped two persons namely Paida Gul and Saeed from whom 3.5 kg charas was recovered. Tarnol Police during routine patrolling stopped Yasir Arafat and recovered one pistol (30-bore) and 50 bullets from his possession. Golra Police stopped woman Shereen Zargai and his accomplice Abid Khan and recovered one pistol (30-bore) from their possession. Aabpara Police arrested a bootlegger namely Shehbaz after recovery of 15 bottles of liquor from their possession. Kohsar Police arrested a drug pusher namely Waheed Masih in possession of 250 gram charas. Sihala Police apprehended Azam Khan for having 500 gram charas.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad, Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of police officials who arrested the culprits and directed them to augment efforts to make Islamabad a crime-free city.
