Big money makers of Bollywood failed to impress masses with their movies this year. Be it Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan or even names like Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif proved to be a box-office disappointment.
Jab Harry Met Sejal
The biggest unexpected flop of 2017 was SRK-Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ that could not even earn-back the invested money.
Tubelight
The other movie that was expected to make big number in terms of money was Salman Khan’s ‘Tube light’ but on the contrary the movie was declared a flop.
Rangoon
The multi starrer movie was highly anticipated as Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor were coming together for the first time. However, before its release there was more news about the fights between the main lead cast of than the actual film resulting in a box-office disaster.
Simran
Kangana’s highly anticipated movie ‘Simran’ failed to impress the movie goers and it all happened amid one of the most talked about controversies of the year that she herself stirred up by talking about her past relationship especially with Hirthik Roshan.
Jagga Jasoos
Seeing an ex-couple romancing on the silver screen can get a little more than awkward. However, the failure of Ranbir and Katrina’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ had a trail of other reasons too. The movie bombed on the box-office following the bad reviews.
Sarkar 3
Bollywood’s very own rendition of ‘Godfather’, ‘Sarkar’, starring Amitabh Bachchan was well appreciated when Raj Gopal Varma came out of with its first edition. However, there was no apparent need for its third part and it went unnoticed on the box-office as well.
