As many as 208 Indian Sikh Yatrees (pilgrims) arrived in the provincial metropolis at Wagha Railway Station by special train to attend Jore Mela here on Wednesday. Chairman Evacuee Property Trust Board; Asif Hashmi and other senior officials warmly welcomed the Sikh pilgrims. The Sikh pilgrims appreciated the arrangements made by Pakistan Rrangers and Evacuee Trust Property Board.
It may be mentioned here that during their stay from June 8, 2011, they will visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hassanabdal, Sach Soda, Sheikupura and Nankana Sahib. The Sikh pilgrims remembered the hospitality rendered to them during their previous visits to Pakistan. They also prayed for the solidarity and integrity of Pakistan and wished peace and prosperity for the Pakistanis.
