Some 400 surplus pool workers of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) have parted their ways from ongoing protesting workers and joined their duties, it emerged on Friday. Sources claimed that said workers have agreed to start operations at their respective fields in order to facilitate the citizens.
They said that KESC has assured the workers that company would release their outstanding salaries for two months, April and May within next few days. It is pertinent to mention here that KESC management has put some 4500 workers in surplus pool and offered them golden shake hands. KESC has also stopped the salaries of the protesting workers for the month of April and May.
