Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah has said this is first time the Mango Expo is being organised in Hyderabad at Expo Centre. The minister was speaking at opening of the 3-day Mango Expo being organised by Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Trade Development Authority Pakistan, Agriculture Department and District Government Hyderabad.
The minister said that Hyderabad Airport should get status of an international airport. He also said that he could not forget love and affection of the people of Hyderabad. Talking about agriculture, he said that agriculture was the backbone of Pakistan's economy and all efforts should be made for the development of agriculture sector. He was willing to extend full support, he added.
Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Mines and Minerals, Imamuddin Shoqeen said the activities of HCCI have become more productive since Gohar Ullah has taken over as president. He said Expo Centre is a good place to introduce our products to developed countries. He stressed the need of packing and marketing and use of modern technology for growers especially for mangoes in order to get better earnings.
