Army a crown of our head: chief minister Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pak Army is our own army, it is the crown of our head and its Generals and Jawans are our brothers who render supreme sacrifices in the defence of the country. He was addressing a big public meeting at Dhir Kot district Bagh in connection with elections of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, on Friday, says a handout released by DGPR here.
Amir Jamat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Abdul Rashid Tarabi, the joint candidate of PML-N and Jamat-e-Islami from Dhir Kot constituency Major (R) Latif Rafiq, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N and MNA Muhammad Hanif Abbasi and Member Provincial Assembly Zaeem Qadri also spoke on the occasion. Leaders and workers of PML-N and Jamat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir were present in large numbers in the meeting.
The CM said that whether it is the snowy peaks of Siachin or the sweltering deserts, Pak army has defended the country on every front. He said that we are opposed to such Generals who disintegrated the country or worked to cover up the crimes and the loot and plunder.
He said that there will be the dawn of the new era in Azad Kashmir on June 26 and the victory of Pakistan Muslim League-N and his allies will bring about a revolution and a pleasant change in the area. The Chief Minister said if our government was formed in Azad Kashmir after success in June 26 elections, problems of the people would be resolved within five years.
He said that the money cannot help any one win the elections as people of Azad Kashmir are not for sale otherwise India would have tried to win their loyalties in this manner. He said that he wanted to salute the proud and brave people of this land who had always raised the slogan of Kashmir Baney Ga Pakistan and supported Pakistan and had never compromised on their religion or faith.
He said if our government was formed in Azad Kashmir after elections, Daanish School, Aashiyana and Mobile Hospital schemes will also be started in the areas. He said that the attendance of people in the public meeting indicates that Pakistan Muslim League-N and its allies will win in Azad Kashmir elections on June 26. Amir Jamat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Abdul Rashid Tarabi said that due to setting up of Pakistan Muslim League-N and the presence of national leadership in Azad Kashmir the people of the area have again joined hands for freedom.
