Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Friday said that PML-N had transformed into a jihadi organisation and was no more a political party. Speaking during Sindh Assembly's session, he said the chief of PML-N, Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif had become the al Qaeda and Taliban leaders in Pakistan.
His comments came after the Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah's remarks against co-chairman Pakistan People's Party, and President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, who said Zardari had come out of jail through deal. He said earlier Sanaullah had openly criticised the slain former Governor Punjab Salman Taseer who was later assassinated and now calling Dr Babar Awan liable to be killed.
He said Zardari had been in prison for a decade and such remarks were against the prestige of the PPP central leadership. He, in a harsh tone, warned the PML-N leadership to desist from such comments and said the PML-N had sensed its defeat in Kashmir's elections. He said Nawaz Sharif had links with slain al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden and took bribe from him to topple Benazir Bhutto's government.
