'Welfare of policemen top priority of government'

The welfare of policemen is the top priority of high ups of Islamabad police and Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) will be provided every possible facility to improve their performance and come up to the expectations of the masses. It was stated by SP (Traffic) Mir Vais Naiz here on Friday while conducting visit to various sections of the ITP Office and meetings with the DSPs serving as Zonal heads.
He directed the working staff to make every possible effort to facilitate the visiting people and solve their problems and complaints on priority basis. The SP (Traffic) said that community policing would be developed to further strengthen the standard of ITP. He asked the officials of the ITP to adopt polite attitude towards road users and create awareness among the masses about traffic discipline. "Polite attitude resolves many problems and brings success in life and exercising such attitude in routine policing can guarantee friendly police ecology with more confidence of public on police department," the SP maintained.
He also visited FM Radio 92.4 and asked to further improve its programme by airing programmes of public interest and deliver in time information to road users about situation on various roads of the city. He said basic job of police department is to serve the people and cops should do their utmost efforts for bringing relief in the lives of people. SP (Traffic) said that ITP has become role model for other law enforcement agencies in a very short span of time and it is corruption-free force with policy of zero tolerance against it.-PR
