Six persons were killed in a brawl in a party at a private bungalow of Defence Area in Gizri police limits early Sunday morning, a top police official said.
Talking to APP, a senior police official said that Talay Bugti, one of the grandsons of late Nawab Akbar Bugti, was among six killed. "These are only initial reports with us and we are gathering further information," he said, added that the incident occurred between 2.30 am to 4 am.
He said he did not confirm about the death of any female in the firing incident. Meanwhile, police have taken eleven persons into custody after the shootout, which killed six persons, including grandson of Nawab Akbar Bugti.
Police said that a function was being held at a Bungalow on street VII Khayaban-e-Rahat in Defence area here, where over fifty persons were invited, but some youths hailing from Balochistan arrived there with more guests, whom entrance into the Bungalow was regretted that arose a dispute leading to blows and finally gun shooting from both sides.
A rumpus was let loose spoiling the party. As a result of the firing six persons died on the spot and ten persons including Akbar Bugti's grandson Talay Bugti were wounded, who were shifted to the hospital for medical aid, where Talay Bugti succumbed to his injuries.
