Oldest Aligarian Nisar passes away

Nisar Ahmed Khan, an old Aligarian and considered to be the oldest Pakistani died here at the age of 110. An announcement here on Sunday said that the deceased was born on September 29, 1901 in Ghaziabad, India. He passed his Matric examination from Mission School Ghaziabad and took admission in Aligarh Muslim University in 1923.
Meanwhile, AMUOBA held a condolence meeting and paid tribute to the departed soul. President Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association (AMUOBA) and Chancellor Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, Z A Nizami, expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Nisar Khan.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
