Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist act of bomb blast in Multan, terming it as a cowardly act of sick mindset. The terrorists, he said, are targeting police stations to create panic and fear among the innocent citizens in cities.
He praised the courage of the police officials who confronted the terrorist to save their colleagues and civilians. Such inhuman acts, he reiterated, cannot demoralise the security officials in confronting such insane and anti-state elements, who neither believe in any religion nor any human values.
The Prime Minister said the government and people of Pakistan are determined to fight terrorism and eliminate such elements who want to create instability and spoil the image of the country. The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to take care of those who are injured and ensure proper medical care.
