Process of hiring buildings for Hujjaj begins

The process to hire buildings for intending pilgrims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would be completed soon. An official of the Ministry of Religious Affairs told APP that the process of hiring buildings for Hujjaj has been started through a transparent mechanism. To achieve the goal, various steps have already been taken.
He said that buildings are being hired through a transparent process. Advertisements in Saudi press have already been appeared aiming to ensure competitiveness. The ministry, he said has also contacted the owners, whose buildings were hired in the past, seeking their interest for this year. Relevant details about buildings hired for the intending pilgrims will also be uploaded at the website of the ministry.
PIA will issue flight schedule on July 1 and the information would be dispatched to the successful pilgrims by August 15. He said intending pilgrims belonging to the same districts would be accommodated in one flight and one building. The minister said the ministry will also launch an awareness campaign to facilitate
the intending pilgrims, Memorandum of Understan-ding (MoU) in this regard has already been inked with Radio Pakistan and PTV. About 64 programmes have been recorded in which Ulema will deliver lectures to the intending pilgrims about performing the religious obligations in the holy land. He said that the ministry was taking a number of steps to ensure provision of maximum facilities to pilgrims, keeping in view the difficulties faced by them during previous years.
