In two separate incidents of roof collapse three people were killed while 17 others received injuries early Wednesday in Shahadara and Walton colony. According to initial reports and Rescue 1122 sources, three workers were killed as the roof of a truck stand cum workshop caved in near Nain Sukh chowk, Shahadara.
Those killed were identified as Mohammad Akram, Bashir Ahmed and another yet to be identified person. Meanwhile, in the aftermath of heavy rain in the city the roof of a house in Walton caved in, leaving seven injured including two children. The injured were shifted to a local hospital by Edhi workers and Rescue 1122.
