Cuban boxing coach to rejoin duties during ongoing month

Pakistan's Cuban boxing coach will arrive in Pakistan during the ongoing month to resume the charge of Pakistan team for a period of another one year, Secretary Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) M. Akram Khan said on Saturday.
Francisco Hernandez Ronald, whose previous contract was ended in December, last year will resume his duties after a gap of over six months.
"He was hired by the PBF for $1400 per month but now with a 10% increase in the package he will be getting around $1550," Akrma told APP. He said Pakistan badly needed a top quality coach ahead of September's World Championship in Azerbaijan. "The event will also act as the qualifying event for the 2012 London Olympics", he said. Akram was of the view that boxers coached by the Cuban would make a strong presence in the important 2012 London Olympics Qualifiers.
