Former Punjab Minister for industries Khawaja Muhammad Jalaluddin Roomi, Chairman of All Pakistan Bedsheet and Upholstery Manufacturers Association (APBUMA) has said that the US should fulfil its promises to develop infrastructure in Pakistan and also provide access to its market.
Congratulating the people of US on their 235th Anniversary of the Independence, he assured the Americans of the full co-operation of the business community for trading with USA. He attributed the leading role of the largest economy of US in the development of world economies. Roomi said withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan by 2014, would accelerate the economic development in the neighbour countries of south Asia. He said youth in Pakistan was growing in the democratic environment and if they were given the opportunity to work with the American economy, their trust in democracy and consensus would certainly strengthen.
