High treason act: LHC moved against Musharraf

A member bar has approached the Lahore High Court against former president General (retired) Pervez Musharraf praying to convict him under high treason act. The petitioner Rana Ilamuddin Ghazi through his counsel A.K Dogar stated that a 14-member bench of the apex court has already held that General (retired) Pervez Musharraf is guilty of offence of high treason.
He pleaded that it is self-evident that Musharraf has already convicted by the SC and only sentence is to be required to announce on him in accordance with section 2 of high treason act.
