MQM requisitions Sindh assembly session

The MQM's members of Sindh Assembly on Saturday along with the opposition leader of PML-F submitted a requisition for calling the assembly's session to discuss the killings of innocent people and issues of public concerns. The requisition, signed by opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly, Jam Madad Ali Khan of PML-F and other MQM's provincial legislators, was submitted at Sindh Assembly for calling a session.
The joint-opposition staged a protest demonstration outside the assembly building against the continued trend of target-killings in the city> they were holding placards, demanding of the government to arrest the culprits and restore peace.
Talking to newsmen, MQM's leader, Raza Haroon said his party would play an opposition role in all assemblies of the country, and showed concerns over the target-killings and unrest in the city. He said MQM also observed a day of mourning to protest against the city's unrest and killings of innocent people.
He said his party would raise voice against the injustice from all platforms to redeem the public from the terrorists clutches. Haroon said MQM had its clear stance on the commissionarate system in Karachi and reserved its legal rights to voice against the system, adding his party would continue opposing it.
