Islamabad police have arrested two ladies who tried to cheat women and nine more outlaws for their alleged involvement in bootlegging, possession of illegal arms and immoral activities. Shehzad Town Police arrested two women who entered a house at Margalla Town and tried to cheat the inmates by asking them to bring gold ornaments, which would be doubled by them, said a spokesman of Islamabad Police on Monday.
He said that the lady called her husband Inam-ul- Majeed who informed the Shehzad Town Police, which quickly responded the call and nabbed two women identified ass Zahida Bibi and Razian Bibi Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Bani Amin Khan appreciated the performance and appealed all citizens to remain alert, the spokesman quoted the IGP as saying.
The IGP said that it is the responsibility of police to ensure protection to life and property of citizens, but people should also remain vigilant against such people. Further investigation is underway and police are hopeful to get further important information from them.
Kohsar Police in response to a tipoff obtained search warrants of house no 28, street 30, F-6/1 and during raid police nabbed two persons Parvaiz and Muhammad Khalil from whom 16 bottles of liquor and 70 canes of beer were recovered. Three persons namely Owais, Amjid and Sabir managed to escape from the scene.
Bhara Kahu Police during routine patrolling apprehended a bootlegger Nasir Masih after recovery of ten bottles of liquor from his possession. Tarnol Police recovered one pistol (30-bore) and 12 bullets from a detained accused Shanawar Khan who is under detention in FIR no 142/11 under sections 324/34. Shahzad Town Police raided a house in Barma Town and Murad Ali, Sardar Hussain, Faraz Ahmed and Inyat, who were watching porn movies in the house.
A teenaged married woman, Momina 18 was kidnapped from Mera Badian village of rural area of federal capital in the jurisdiction of Golra Police Station. Police registered a case against three persons nominated by the husband of kidnapped lady. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan appreciated the overall performance of the capital police and directed all police officials to keep a vigilant eye take effective measures for providing people security and complete peace of mind.
