National Savings branches in Abbottabad computerised

National Savings, in a process of computerisation of its branches, throughout the country has stepped into Abbotabad region and computerised six branches in the hilly town. The move is next to already full computerisation of branches in Faisalabad and Peshawar.
According to a press release, issued here on Monday, the Director General National Savings, Zafar M Sheikh, credited the success of the department to the efforts of its staff. He congratulated the employees of CDNS on successful achievement of investment target and announced a bonus for them.
DG National Savings hoped that the staff will consistently move forward towards greater success and achieve more milestones in serving the nation. "The computerisation process aims at modernising the manner of service so that our investors could be provided with state-of-the-art facilities and speedy process", he said and added all the Savings Centers of the country will be computerised by 2012. It's noteworthy that the department not only has surpassed its investment target for the last financial year but also there have been seven billion additions to the mark set for investment during the year.-PR
