The revival of the commissionerate system in Sindh has been generally welcome, particularly when the rest of the three provinces have already restored the said system sometime ago. So much so, that the Sindhi nationalists who are said to be the worst 'enemies' of PPP, have also congratulated PPP on its recent decision as favourable to the people of Sindh.
One ex-partner in the coalition government, MQM, made the PPP government a 'hostage' for the last three years on this and other subjects. I suggest to MQM to accept this decision with an open heart as it has the full support of the people of Pakistan in general and Sindh in particular, whereas three out of the four provinces have already adopted the said system.
