LHC moved for recovery of spouse, daughter: former chief minister Punjab

A petition has been filed before Lahore High Court for the recovery of spouse and suckling daughter of former Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Dost Muhammad Khan Khosa. Sapna Khan and her daughter, was allegedly taken away by the friends of Khosa at GOR on June 22 last and since then no clue to her whereabouts is available.
Judicial Activism Panel (JAP) has filed the habeas corpus on the news item published in a local daily on July 7 last remained non-contradicted. The petitioner JAP, through Muhammad Azhar Siddique, contended that Sapna Khan, a showbiz star lady and third spouse of Khosa, was last time witnessed outside the official residence of Khosa at GOR with a baby in her lap and being mercilessly beaten by the friends of the former CM who also took her away in a car to any unknown place after the baby was snatched from her.
As per report reproduced in the petition, Sapna was residing in Johar Town where Sardar Dost Khosa had purchased her a house but she wanted to stay with Khosa at his official residence in GOR which had formed the basis of a dispute between them. The petitioner had prayed to the court to direct the authorities to recover and produce the lady in the court.
